Indian Curry

1 pound hamburger
1 medium onion, sliced
2 potatoes, cubed
2 teaspoons curry powder
Basil
Cumin seeds
Anise seeds
1 1/2 to 2 cups stewed tomatoes, tomato
    juice, broth or water
1 to 2 cups coarsely shredded cabbage

Brown hamburger and onion. Add potatoes to this mixture. Add curry powder and sprinkling of basil, cumin and anise seeds. Heat and stir until well mixed. Add tomatoes or other liquid. Bring to a boil. Add cabbage and cook until cabbage is tender and potatoes are soft. Season with salt and pepper.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons strawberry flavored gelatin
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix together the sugar, water, gelatin and cornstarch in a medium large saucepan. Boil for one minute. Remove from heat.
  2. Fold in the sliced strawberries, toss until well coated. Pour into the graham cracker crust.
  3. Chill until well set. Serve topped with whipped cream.
