Mushrooms with Sour Cream (Poland)

8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
Minced dill weed or parsley

Cook and stir mushrooms in butter for 3 minutes. Stir in flour; cook and stir for 1 minute. Stir in sour cream, salt and pepper. Heat, stirring occasionally, just until hot. Sprinkle with dill weed.

Yields 4 servings.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons strawberry flavored gelatin
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix together the sugar, water, gelatin and cornstarch in a medium large saucepan. Boil for one minute. Remove from heat.
  2. Fold in the sliced strawberries, toss until well coated. Pour into the graham cracker crust.
  3. Chill until well set. Serve topped with whipped cream.
