Crabby Mushrooms

1 cup crabmeat
1 tablespoon bread crumbs
1 tablespoon onions, minced
1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, grated
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons parsley; minced
12 mushroom stems, finely chopped
12 mushroom caps
1 egg, beaten
Louisiana hot sauce, to taste

In a bowl, mix crab meat, bread crumbs, onions, cheese, salt, parsley, and chopped mushroom stems. Add beaten egg and hot sauce, to taste. Stuff mixture into mushroom caps. Bake at 300 degrees F until tender, 15 to 30 minutes.

Serve hot.

Yields 8 servings.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons strawberry flavored gelatin
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix together the sugar, water, gelatin and cornstarch in a medium large saucepan. Boil for one minute. Remove from heat.
  2. Fold in the sliced strawberries, toss until well coated. Pour into the graham cracker crust.
  3. Chill until well set. Serve topped with whipped cream.
